“ Their food is excellent! Best so far in tunisia. The ojja fruit de mer (seafood) is exquisite! The fried rougets and the duo squid are myst trys. If you like meat, you could try the lamb chobs, but they aren’t the best. If I had to reorder one menu, it would def be the seafood ojja! ”

The Tunisian salad was wonderful and big enough to share. I had the ojja with sausage and it was amazing!! After dinner the owner helped us get a cab and sat outside and talked with us until it arrived. Overall it was a great experience and I would love to return on another trip to Tunis. ”

“ La Cloche d'or is a very good restaurant to chill and have a meal. It is a bar restaurant so there is a lot of noise as primarily many people come to drink and chat. Like all the other restaurants in Tunisia, smoking is allowed in the closed space and if you're not a smokers, you have to bear. I ordered seafood pot and I was very happy with the size of the portion and the quality of the food. You get shrimps, squid and mussles in this dish. The service is decent considering the number of guests present during peak dinner times. ”

“ The price is not so cheap, but the food portions were large enough for two so price is quite ok, and the best food we had in Tunisia. The grilled squid and octopus was nice, as was the Tunisian beef stew. A lot of the items were missing from the menu and they will bring the appetizers and main course whenever, so maybe just order appetizer first, wait for them to be served, then order the main course ”

“ The food was tasty and when we visited the place on a Monday, we realised that is a local option as well for Tunisians, which is a good sign! Full of locals. It also has a very good list of wines, which is not that easy to find in Tunisia (try the Syrah “magnifique”). However, the smoking part inside the restaurant kind of influenced negatively the experience. ”
